Airside construction for the replacement of 157 aircraft docking guidance units with an advanced visual docking guidance system unit for Delta Air Lines at Terminals A, B, C, D, E, F, and T. This project was the largest single installation of ADB SafeGate’s systems in the United States....

ASE was contracted to survey existing conditions at 40+ airports across the U.S. and create plans for the newly combined US Airways/American fleet. As-built drawings were utilized to create new aircraft parking plans for each airport, maximize the needs of the new fleet while also implementing AA’s safety standards and striping specifications....

ASE is deeply involved with multiple airside projects at DFW, including PBB replacements and refurbishments, central and point of use PCA upgrades, gate reconfigurations including aircraft fleet mix upsizing, and central chiller plant evaluations. In addition, ASE provided ongoing assistance to the owner in developing an equipment replacement plan for the next few years due to aging airside infrastructure....

This fast-track project provided aircraft parking designs for restriping United’s gates at over 100 airports throughout the U.S. to meet United’s latest ramp standards. This project involved initial surveys of all airports to gather existing conditions and development of new aircraft parking plans and striping layouts to meet the latest striping standards and specific airport fleet requirements....

ASE was chosen to perform the complete airside re-design of Gates C30 and C31 to allow for dual PBB servicing of A380s at C30. The project included the installation of two new PBBs walkways, foundations, GPUs, AHUs, hose retrieval systems, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, VDGS relocations, and ramp striping modifications....

AERO BridgeWorks has begun the installation of 13 new passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) at T5 at LAX. This project which also includes new PBB foundations and upgrades to the Pre-conditioned Air central system is being closely coordinated with the seasonal peak flight schedules with a multi-phase construction schedule. This allows uninterrupted aircraft operations for the carrier throughout this two year project....

AERO Systems Engineering is wrapping up the Airside Planning and Design Development Package for the Charleston International Airport – Terminal Redevelopment & Improvement Project. This project includes a major re-development and renovation of the existing terminal facility. We have been tasked with optimizing the airside gate operations for today’s aircraft as well as the Nex-Gen aircraft of the future.
