Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport
Boarding Bridge Improvement Project

ABW was the prime general contractor on this project, which included the removal of the original gates and walkways, pouring of new foundations, setting new gates and walkways, new electrical infrastructure, installing new PCA and GPU systems, and all civil site construction.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
SafeDock System Installation

ABW was the prime design-build general contractor for the replacement of 157 aircraft docking guidance units with an advanced visual docking guidance system unit for Delta Air Lines at Terminals A, B, C, D, E, F, and T. This project included all necessary electrical/communications upgrades, breakers, ramp striping, and VDGS installation.

PBB and Aircraft Parking Modernization

ABW has completed several projects at MEM. For the Concourse B Modernization, ABW was the prime contractor, completing all airside scope including 25 new gates, PBB refurbishments, site civil, apron paving and hydrant fueling. This was a significant multi-year project that consolidated 75 gates with PBBs spread across 3 Concourses to a final 39 gates on Concourse B.

International Airport North Terminal Project

ABW was selected by the Construction Management at Risk Joint Venture, Hunt Gibbs-Boh Metro, to procure, furnish and install Passenger Boarding Bridges and Fixed Walkways for 29 new gates. ABW maintained project schedule and installed 10 PBBs per month. During pre-construction services, ABW saved CMR over $2M of equipment and moved ahead of schedule.
