AERO Systems Engineering is wrapping up the Airside Planning and Design Development Package for the Charleston International Airport – Terminal Redevelopment & Improvement Project. This project includes a major re-development and renovation of the existing terminal facility. We have been tasked with optimizing the airside gate operations for today’s aircraft as well as the Nex-Gen aircraft of the future. This project includes all fixed ground-support gate systems and equipment as well as an evaluation of the existing passenger boarding bridges to determine the most cost-effective approach for the project, whether that be re-use, relocation, refurbishment or replacement.
