Since last year, AERO BridgeWorks, Inc. has been the prime general contractor for Norfolk Airport Authority at Norfolk International Airport (ORF) and has been installing new passenger boarding bridges and other associated airside equipment as part of ORF's 17-Gate PBB Replacement Project. Right before the holidays, an impromptu comprehensive inspection was performed by the VOSH Safety Compliance Division and AERO received a perfect score without a single notation! NEWSFLASH: AERO Systems Engineering, Inc. is Extending our Reach: Through a key promotion and an additional key hire, we are pleased to formally announce the opening of our two new regional offices in Chicago and Boston! Scheduled to open early 2019, PAE is a brand new full-service commercial terminal facility.  AERO provided construction services to install and commission two (2) new glass passenger boarding bridges. AERO also furnished and installed new bag lifts directly for PAE.  The glass bridges have received praise from the media, Airlines and passengers alike.  AERO takes pride that our installations were completed safely, on-time and within budget....

Working together, ASE and ABW utilized their combined expertise and experience to quickly integrate the Owner’s requirements to move this fast-tracked 5 gate design-build project towards completion. In addition to the PBB design and installation, new PCAs and GPUs will be added, all while working together to deliver the project ahead of schedule and under budget....

AERO used their combined engineering and construction expertise to help the Port of Seattle, Delta Air Lines and other contractors to add two additional gates on Concourse B under this fast-tracked design-build project. ASE and ABW have been working at SEA on several projects since the 2000’s. AERO also served as a design-build partner for airside systems including construction documents and construction administration for aircraft parking and PBB layout and design for the International Arrivals Facility (IAF)....

AERO provided turnkey design and construction services to provide a VDGS Safegate System. Upgrades for Phase 1 included new Type 1 Safegate Units and future provisions to connect to the Safegate SAM System on Concourse A. Our Design-Build approach allowed JFKIAT to expedite long lead equipment and begin construction months ahead of a traditional project delivery....

AERO’s fast-track design and construction at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport enabled complete integration of new aircraft into the US Airways fleet at one of the airline’s largest hubs. AERO’s planning and construction resulted in significant cost savings and the project was completed ahead of schedule....

AERO provided design and construction of the single largest aviation fixed ground support system project in history. Phase 1 included 86 gate replacements and Phase 2 included an additional 30. This project also featured site work, emergency egress improvements and hold room modifications. Phase 1 was completed two months ahead of schedule in anticipation of Atlanta’s hosting of Super Bowl LIII....

AERO provided airside design and construction services for the relocation of the existing Delta Air Lines Operation from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3. Twenty airlines were relocated to Terminals 5 and 6 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal. This project shifted 40% of the total airline capacity at LAX from one location to another....
